Welcome To South America, the second musical in Green Bean's continent series, flies us to the Southern Hemisphere for another melodic voyage. The opening song has three verses, all three of which say the same thing - the catch is, each verse is in a different language (English, Spanish, and Portuguese)! "It Gets Chilly in Chile" tells us that, while we may think of Chile as a warm place, extreme weather conditions are found in the Andes Mountains. "Galapagos" is a tribute to the unique and fragile Ecuadorian island group and its unique inhabitants. Next, we see that "It's All On the Amazon," the river from which more water flows than any other river in the world, and also the heart of the world's largest rainforest. Hungry for more? The finale, "South American Dining," explores delectable cuisine from throughout South America.
